Sales Promotor Italy

The Sales Promoter is accountable for the promotion and sales of the full range of Lamb Weston products. You will be responsible for all local food services establishments (Pubs, Steakhouses, Hamburgeries) in the assigned area (Piemonte, Liguria, Sardegna regions). In this role you report to the Sales Promoter Teamlead. You will become part of the Italian Sales team. This is a fulltime role.

What you will do

  • Develop sales plans, establish call and visit/journey plans and strategies, develop restaurants profiles for the relevant market/area;
  • Produce periodic sales reports and accurate records on end-users visits, including the sales performance KPIs;
  • Identify and realize new business opportunities across the portfolio of accounts and as to agreed new business targets;
  • Plan and execute sales promotions and permanent listings, working together with the marketing team;
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through optimal availability, timely communication, placing accurate orders, tracking and expediting orders and following up on accounts;
  • Coach, motivate, train and lead our customers in their knowledge of our products and their features and benefits to allow them to sell our products to a highly successful standard;
  • Train kitchen staff in correct storage, handling and frying procedures for our products;
  • Contribute to the professional organisation and representation of Lamb Weston/Meijer at general or customer exhibitions.

What do you bring to the table?

  • A Bachelor degree with one or two years of experience in sales, preferably in food, drink, FMCG or Wholesale company or a high school diploma with strong and long experience;
  • Preferably living in Turin area;
  • Fluency in Italian and advanced in English.

As a Sales Promoter you are able to adapt change and bring in out of the box solutions. Furthermore you are perseverant and a strong personality. Of course you have excellent communication skills and you know how to build relationships with different types of people.
